Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT)

PGT is an advanced test used during the IVF process to check embryos for genetic or chromosomal conditions before they are transferred to the womb. By selecting the healthiest embryos, PGT can increase the chances of a successful pregnancy and reduce the risk of passing on inherited conditions.

Helping you build a healthier future, right from the very beginning.

Preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A)

PGT-A is a test done during the IVF process to check if embryos have the correct number of chromosomes. Sometimes, embryos may have extra or missing chromosomes (called aneuploidies), which can lead to difficulties such as failed implantation, miscarriage, or certain genetic conditions. By testing embryos before transfer, PGT-A helps identify the healthiest ones, increasing the chances of a successful pregnancy and reducing the risk of complications.

Who should go for PGT-A:

Couples who have had a previous pregnancy with aneuploidy
Women who have had two or more miscarriages
Women who have experienced previously failed embryo implantation
Women diagnosed with unexplained infertility
Women older than age 35
Women who have undergone numerous unsuccessful fertility treatments

Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Monogenic Disorders (PGT-M)

PGT-M checks embryos for specific inherited conditions caused by a single faulty gene, such as thalassemia or cystic fibrosis. This helps parents avoid passing these conditions to their children.

Who Can Benefit from PGT-M?

PGT-M is especially helpful for couples or individuals who:

Have a known family history of a specific genetic disorder (e.g., thalassemia, cystic fibrosis, Huntington’s disease).
Are carriers of a single-gene condition and want to reduce the risk of passing it on to their children.
Have had a child previously affected by a monogenic disorder.
Wish to plan for a healthy pregnancy with greater peace of mind.
